This "competition" is not an actual one, but, set up as an Open one, is used to obtain the handicaps of the opposition players for the Seniors Section matches against other clubs.

We insert the players in advance of the match day and use the "Update Visitors from WHS" facility to update and check them on the morning of the match so that we can quickly update, if necessary, the spreadsheet we have prepared in advance for the match that shows shots given / received.

Once / if ever IG get around to improving the match facilities on the system to do all of that then this "competition" will no longer be necessary. We have requested that from them some time ago but keep being informed that it is planned for the future.
