Old Thorns Golf & Country Estate, Longmoor Road, Griggs Green, Liphook, Hampshire, GU30 7PE.

Down the A3 and take the exit marked “Griggsgreen” near Liphook.

That exit is the next one after you pass the Liphook Services and there is also a sign to Old Thorns GC. Having turned off, take the right turn at the T junction and Old Thorns is a few hundred yards on the right.

Meeting up on the Sunday

Our first tee time is at1pm, please meet in good time in theSports Bar, which is near the changing room in the main part of the hotel.

Room check in isn’t available until 3pm, so you will need to do that after playing. All our rooms are in the main part of the hotel.

Dinner at 8.30pm – a 2 course carvery (main and desert)

We have tables reserved together in the Kings Restaurant.

Monday

Breakfast available from 6.30am, Checkout before we play, as it needs to be done before 11am.

After playing, gather again in the Sports Bar. Food (not included) will be available if required and,

once all in, we will move to the nearby Kenwood Suite for final prize giving.

Golf Arrangements

• Team stableford bowmaker on each day (best 2 from 4) and
• 36 hole individual stableford
• Yellow tees
• Draw / tee times for Sunday is shown belowand for Monday will be announced at Dinner on Sunday.
• On Sunday and Monday
  • Nearest the pin in 2 on Hole 5,a downhill short par 4 with pond on the left
  • Nearest the pin on Hole 7(143 yards)

Buggies– if required these should be booked in advance(£40 for 18 holes) – please contact the Pro shop directly on 01428 725 880.

Old Thorns provide a complimentary golf insurance for the day(s) covering personal liability, personal accident and non-negligent damage cover. You may be asked to digitally sign in (contact name and email address) to book that in the pro shop or at the starters hut.

DRESSCODE

To avoid any possible embarrassment, pleaseensurethat EACH MEMBER of your party is aware of the following dress codes:

 GOLF COURSE

• ALL shirts must have collars and be tucked in. NO rugby or football shirts allowed

• ALL denim, camouflage, combat or multiple pocket trousers are STRICTLY PROHIBITED

• ONLY tailored shorts (no patch pockets typically with 2 side pockets) with socks above ankle height.

• Training shoe and football or rugby socks are NOT permitted.

• Golf shoes MUSTbe worn (soft spikes ONLY)
• Buggies are to remain strictly on pathways at all times
• NO alcohol on the course or in the hotel bedrooms

 Anyone disobeying the daily course rules or causing offensive behaviour WILL be asked to leave the course.

KINGSRESTAURANT(AFTER 19:00}

• NO ripped jeans, shorts, hats, jogging pants or swimwear

ATRIUM BAR(OPEN FROM 14:00 UNTI L LATE)

• NO shorts, hats, ripped jeans or hooded tops

SPORTS BAR(OPEN FROM 08:00 UNTIL LATE)

• Soft spikes and golf apparel are permitted in the Sports Bar
