Mogs Birthday Bash

Thursday 21st October 2021 - Purley Downs, Yellow Tees


This annual event is funded by those Mogs that have significant birthdays this year and participants are those that have accepted the invitation.

Arrangements

 

 Golf

 

Play to be in groups of 4. Each group has been seeded by handicap so that all groups have a similar average team handicap. As this is a non-qualifying competition play will be off full Course Handicaps. (i.e. Playing Handicap = Course Handicap).

 

First four groups to play off the 10th tee, thereafter all groups off the 1st.

 

 (Please note the website start sheet does not reflect the different tees)

 

Play off the Yellow tees

and

gimmees can be given within the putter GRIP.

 

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Individual best stableford scores

 

and 1st 2nd & 3rd Team bowmaker best scores - best 3 out of 4 points to count on each hole.

 

Every player to contribute £3 towards the prize pot.

 

Please bring correct money and PAY IN THE PRO SHOP before going out to play.

 

Each player to check in before playing via the touch screen and enter your individual scores on the touch screen after playing.

 

Cards to be handed to Keith Pitts in the lounge bar.

 

Lunch Arrangements

 

Lunch will start at 02.45 pm 

 

Please follow the Seating Plan on each table.

 

Jacket and Tie required.

 

The menu

 

Starter:            Sticky Mango Prawns (crispy king prawns, cooked with garlic, olive oil, lime zest, curry powder & mango                                 chutney)

 

Main:               Veal Saltimbocca (Veal sauteed in butter and oil, topped with crispy parma ham and sage with a buttery white

                       wine sauce, served with sliced bread, roasted potatoes, broccoli and carrots)

 

Dessert:           Homemade Tiramisu

 

                        Sharing Cheese Platter
